APV TRIP TO BENGALURU

A reflection by the students and teachers of APV School in Anjanisain, Uttarakhand of their January 2018 trip to Bengaluru and Mysore, Karnataka.

It was a pleasant bright day and fairly warm day for a winter morning in Anjanisain – we departed at about 11:30 reached Haridwar at 5:30pm. On the way we spent about half an hour at the Sangam at Devprayag enjoying the meeting of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda. From Haridwar we took a train to Delhi and this train trip was an exciting experience for many children as it was their first train journey experience. As soon as we reached Delhi, we had lunch at Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. It was a unique experience for all the students and teachers to have meal with so many people. The greatest event however, was rushing towards the Delhi airport for catching the flight.

Among the most memorable experiences of Bengaluru trip were Brindavan garden, Tipu Sultan Palace, Mysore Palace, Science City, Infosys and the lunch at Digant’s place. It was interesting to share our school’s music and meditation with The Samhita School where we stayed for two nights.

Probably what children and teachers enjoyed the most was to meet Sridar Ji and Mohit Ji again and share their stories and laughters. The journey back to Anjanisain was special as the students and teachers were able to enjoy the aerial view of the Deccan plateau as it was day time. By the time we reached Anjanisain it was midnight.
