The first thing I noticed was how cold Bengaluru was! I was so used to the weather in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai that the cool weather shocked me. I loved all the museums we visited, especially the one the had a feature on women’s art. I felt like I understood everything; the blues and reds, tense expressions and displays of “ultimate” femininity. The exhibit was so layered and complex, I enjoyed exploring femininity from an Indian perspective, and I came to realize how close we are just because we share the same sex. It was nice to experience art here in Bengaluru because it seems like a very important part of the city. Not just colors, but different forms of expression, like theatre! Each city had its own flare, and I enjoyed Bengaluru’s version of it.
