Living in a richly diverse neighborhood in France, Isma has always appreciated cultures around her while being aware of the systemic challenges her community faces. She grew up understanding that life would not always be fair, but found strength in opportunities that allowed her to explore sports and environmental issues. During the Collective, her blog reflected a deep sensitivity to global inequities and her determination to be part of the solution. Writing became her anchor—whether poetry or reflective pieces—through which she voiced empathy, justice, and the urgency of addressing climate change. On the journey, she absorbed every cultural interaction with gratitude, using it as a way to broaden her own vision of equality and resilience.
