Kacen Beers lives in North Carolina which is a rural area of southern USA and has always loved outdoor activities like camping, hunting, fishing, and sports. Kacen is excited to share his outdoor passion.Shaped by a childhood of moving from place to place, Kacen has grown into someone adaptable, calm in unfamiliar settings, and deeply accepting of others. Climate change became real for him when Hurricane Helene struck his community, leaving his family without power and water for weeks—a reminder that global issues often have personal consequences. On the trip, he carried this awareness with him, combining curiosity with grounded resilience, and using his expressive style of storytelling to make others see and feel his perspective. For Kacen, the beauty of community is that “everyone is accepted for who they are,” and his time in India only strengthened that belief.
