Growing up in Kashmir, Toyiba has always felt deeply connected to land, culture, and resilience. A writer and entrepreneur, she uses social media to share reflections on women’s empowerment and productivity. On the program, her blogs revealed both her pride and her vulnerability—she wrote of the comfort she felt when she found pieces of home, like food and warmth, in new environments, and of the inspiration she drew from seeing innovation and culture in other Indian cities. With her keen awareness of how climate change threatens Kashmir’s farming and glaciers, she carried her community’s voice into every discussion, determined to use her platform to advocate for eco-friendly practices and gender equity.
