Coming from North Philadelphia, Ty-Kira carries with her the resilience and warmth of her community, which has shaped her determination to become a first-generation college student and future veterinarian. In India, she expressed her love for animals by noticing the many strays, while also appreciating cultural immersion and adjusting to new environments in Delhi.
