Today was the first day we met everyone in the group. I had the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone. It was difficult memorizing everyones names and I'm still working on it but it was great getting to know new people and making new friends. During Lunch, the food was toooo spicy so, I resorted to the food/ snacks my mom had packed for me and I shared with my roommates. The most challenging part of the day was definitely the food and getting used to it but I tried being open minded about it and I tried it even if I was slightly nervous to do so. I'm glad I did try it because the food was honestly really good especially the buttered chicken (after they toned down the spice). At the end of the night, Nishita, made henna designs on my hand and it was really exciting. The day was intimidating at first but overall really fun.
