For Sherly, a first-generation American from an Ecuadorian family and a passionate artist, the 360Plus Leadership Collective became a stage for growth and discovery. Describing herself as a musician, dancer, and changemaker, she brought her creativity into every space—whether through interactive theatre in Bangalore, where she realized “the arts are a perfect way to raise awareness about a global issue,” or in Ahmedabad, where she connected with the idea that even the smallest creatures, like termites and mosquitoes, have a role in the balance of nature. In Mumbai, she delighted in exploring the Museum of Solutions and sharing stories over dinner with donors, while Delhi’s cultural immersion pushed her out of her comfort zone and helped her embrace new foods, friendships, and traditions. Beyond the activities, Sherly’s reflections reveal how the program expanded her worldview, reinforcing her belief that climate change affects every aspect of life, including the economic realities of the communities she interviewed. She left the program as a singer and dancer and as a young leader inspired to blend her artistic voice with action for climate citizenship and community impact.
