The #360plus cohort began their day with an eye-opening visit to the Infosys campus in Mysuru. Stepping into this sprawling campus felt like entering a different world, one where sustainability and innovation coexist harmoniously. Students were impressed to learn that the Infosys team is deeply committed to environmental conservation, with solar panels providing energy and natural sunlight eliminating the need for artificial lighting. One student reflected, “Seeing the Infosys campus felt like a different world and opened my eyes to see that even big campuses like this one can take measures to be green.” After exploring the facilities, the group enjoyed a delightful lunch and some refreshing ice cream, adding a sweet touch to their educational experience.
In the afternoon, the cohort visited the majestic Mysore Palace, a treasure trove of art and history. Walking through the ornate halls, they marveled at the intricate architecture and the rich cultural heritage preserved within the palace walls. Students learned about the royal family’s history, the architectural significance of the palace, and the efforts made to maintain this historical monument. The beauty and grandeur of the palace left a lasting impression on everyone, showcasing the importance of preserving cultural heritage.
The day concluded with a fun and educational visit to the Mysore Zoo, where students got up close with a variety of animals.
