Leadership Collective 2024

Embracing Conservation

India, with its diverse landscapes and rich cultural heritage, is home to over 1.3 billion people and many ecosystems. It serves as a vibrant laboratory for conservation practices and leadership in sustainability. Conservation efforts in India have yielded significant successes, such as the commendable increase in the population of the Bengal Tiger, showcasing the profound impact of dedicated leadership and community involvement. This year, our theme centres on the critical and timely issue of conservation, aiming to inspire and cultivate a new generation of leaders equipped with a profound understanding of environmental stewardship and sustainable practices. Through a dynamic blend of virtual engagement and immersive travel in India, this program offers an unparalleled education in leadership and global awareness.

The Leadership Collective 2024 invites you to embark on a ground-breaking journey that transcends borders, cultures, and conventional learning.

360Plus will be selecting this year’s Leadership Collective participants with an eye on applicants that can contribute to group learning and exploration of this complex global crisis. We want to see your potential as a leader that can help create awareness and preparedness in your community for the climate crisis. This means you must be passionate about learning, able to persuade people to action, and ready to be part of a very diverse group of learners. Our 2024 curriculum will start online in a virtual classroom in late April. Learners will complete monthly projects that share stories from their own youth communities, present learnings about India’s history and culture, and prepare learners for experiences with youth in India. In mid-July, Leadership Collective learners from around the world will meet in India.

The Leadership Collective 2024 is currently cultivating a new generation of conservation leaders. This groundbreaking program transcends borders and conventional learning, offering a transformative journey through India, a land teeming with diverse ecosystems, rich cultural heritage, and over 1.3 billion people.

This year’s cohort of 26 participants hails from seven different countries: India, South Africa, Tanzania, Madagascar, the United States, Lebanon, and Nepal. Inspired by the success story of India’s Bengal Tiger population, these participants are delving into the complexities of conservation. Through a dynamic blend of virtual engagement and immersive travel, they are gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle environmental challenges head-on.
