One student aptly captured the essence of the visit: “I learned about the way in which we can coexist with nature while still prioritizing and conserving the land in which we reside.” This visit emphasized the practical applications of sustainability and the potential for eco-friendly living.

After a hearty lunch, the students headed to the INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) organization to learn about heritage conservation. They participated in a session that described the various ways organizations preserve architecture and make it sustainable. The cohort also had the opportunity to visit a tech lab, where they witnessed advanced technology such as 3D scanning and digital archiving being used to document and restore historical artifacts. This experience highlighted the intersection of technology and heritage, showcasing innovative methods of conservation.
