The students embarked on the next leg of their journey to the “City of Dreams”- Mumbai! Upon arrival, they were greeted by the city’s iconic monsoon weather. Despite initial concerns about the challenges posed by the rain, the students fully embraced the experience, finding joy in the unique atmosphere that Mumbai’s monsoons create.

Their day was centered at the Museum of Solutions, a hub for innovative thinking and practical learning. Here, students engaged in a variety of fun and educational activities, exploring solutions to pressing climate issues such as water management, pollution control, and biodiversity conservation. The museum’s interactive exhibits, including experiments and virtual reality experiences, offered hands-on learning in science, mathematics, and coding. One of the standout moments for the students was a canvas made from air pollution, demonstrating the creative ways in which waste can be repurposed.

As one student put it, “What stood out for me was the canvas made from air pollution, and the many ways pollution can be reused for things I never knew were possible. I was also impressed by how the museum captures the attention of the younger generation, offering them ways to learn while having fun.” The Museum of Solutions not only sparked curiosity and creativity but also encouraged the students to think critically about the environmental challenges facing our world. The first day in Mumbai was a blend of fun and learning, setting the stage for deeper exploration and shared memories in the days to come.
