On Day 6, the #360plus students delved into India’s rich prehistoric past at the Prince of Wales Museum. The museum’s vast collection of ancient artifacts, scriptures, and tools offered a tangible connection to the country’s early civilizations. The meticulously preserved items, safeguarded by dedicated historians and heritage conservators, provided the students with invaluable insights into the cultural and historical roots of India. This experience highlighted the critical importance of preserving cultural heritage for future generations. The students also explored Mumbai’s historical buildings, witnessing the blend of colonial architecture and modern-day vibrancy. One student remarked, “It was fascinating to see the staircase from the Harry Potter movie and learn about the ports and British buildings constructed during their time of colonialism.” They also visited the St. Cathedral, admired for its architectural beauty, and later explored a museum showcasing a diverse range of artifacts from India and around the world.
