Past Initiatives

TechPals

A global digital pen-pal initiative by 360+ that connects secondary school students from underserved communities in India with members of the 360+ network around the world.

Through regular email exchanges, students practice English, gain exposure to diverse cultures, and discover new academic and professional possibilities beyond their immediate environment. By leveraging simple internet access, TechPals bridges geographical and social divides—creating meaningful cross-cultural connections and expanding young students’ worldviews through conversation, mentorship, and shared experiences.

Nepal Earthquake Relief Initiative

Following the devastating earthquake in Nepal on 25 April, members of 360+ came together to support relief efforts on the ground. In partnership with Sahayeta.org, led by 360+ member Srijana Angdembey, the network raised over $9,500 to provide immediate aid to affected communities.

A joint team from 360+ and Sahayeta conducted on-ground needs assessments and coordinated relief distribution across several villages, delivering essential supplies such as food, tents, medicines, blankets, and corrugated zinc sheets for temporary shelters. Collaborating with local NGOs and community groups, the initiative supported hundreds of families in districts including Bhaktapur, Sindhupalchok, Dhading, and Gorkha.

After completing the first phase of emergency relief, the team laid the groundwork for a second phase focused on long-term rehabilitation and livelihood generation in the affected regions.

Regenerative Travel Initiative – Tanzania

360+ believes that travel can go beyond sustainability to actively improve the communities we visit.

In 2023, during a safari trip to Tanzania, members of the 360+ community visited the Ololosokowan Primary School and learned about the challenges faced by young girls at the boarding school, particularly the lack of access to menstrual hygiene products.

In response, the group partnered with Femme International to implement a program that combined menstrual health education with the supply of essential hygiene products.

Through the 360Plus Foundation, this initiative supported dozens of girls with resources and awareness to manage their health with dignity.

The project reflects the philosophy of regenerative travel—leaving a meaningful, positive impact on the communities we encounter.

Ukranian Student Trip 2023

In August 2023, the 360Plus Foundation hosted eight Ukrainian students from Kyiv, aged 12–19, for a fully funded three-week educational and cultural journey across the United States. Designed as a respite from the ongoing war and an opportunity for global exposure, the students travelled through Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, and New York, participating in a wide range of learning experiences—from university visits and museum explorations to cultural landmarks, technology campuses, and community events.

Throughout the journey, the students engaged with diverse people, ideas, and environments, documenting their experiences through daily blogs. The trip fostered cross-cultural understanding, personal confidence, and global awareness, continuing 360Plus Foundation’s mission of empowering young people from under-resourced backgrounds through transformative international experiences.

HeritageIndia 2019

HeritageINDIA 2019, powered by Indiaspora in collaboration with 360Plus, was a three-week immersive program designed for students of Indian origin to reconnect with their ancestral roots.

Held from July 21 to August 10, the program explored the theme “India’s Riches: History, Culture, Diversity, & Democracy.” Participants travelled across New Delhi, Gujarat, and Kerala, experiencing India’s cultural diversity through historical exploration, community engagement, discussions, and hands-on learning projects.

The initiative aimed to deepen students’ understanding of India while fostering meaningful connections and lifelong bonds within a global cohort of young leaders.
