  • Adventure Place of Mud House

Today, I visited a beautiful and creative place called the Mad House, and it reminded me of my own home. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. It felt like a space where people could express themselves freely and comfortably. While I was there, I had the opportunity to paint a flower pot using bright and cheerful colors. As I painted, I felt calm, focused, and proud of my artwork. After finishing the pot, I carefully planted a small green plant in it. It felt meaningful and joyful to do something with my hands that connects to nature. The whole experience made me feel peaceful and reminded me of the importance of creativity, care, and the feeling of being at home.

  • Where Mud Meets Home

Stepping barefoot in a home is normal in India, but in a mud house, not knowing I was about to feel something I hadn’t felt in years.

At first, it felt like any other moment when we check in most Indian houses. But as soon as my feet touched the packed earth of that mud house in Ecoplore, everything became cool and calm. It was not just fresh air; it was stagnant air. As though the house were breathing. As I could breathe at last as well.

This was not only a house of mud. But a well-structured buildup—every wall, every curvature, every silent corner seemed to have something to say. The insides were not glitzy nor perfect. But then again they had something, whether it was the light catching on the leaf-shaped lamps or how they made a work of art out of broken mirrors, a little bit of the world reflecting back at you. It reminded me of the fact that beauty will never require polishing, but presence.

I found myself slowing down. Listening. Feeling. There were simulated raindrops gently falling in the outdoor space, but I didn’t feel like they were simulated. It felt like a moment in childhood. Like calm. Like a moment the world forgot to rush.

Being inside that mud house made me insightfully aware of the reality of how much humans need to connect to nature. Not in a ridiculous, extreme way but in smaller, everyday ways. In touching the wall and knowing it came from the earth. Nature is not separate from us. It is us. We just forget sometimes.

If we are to protect it, we first have to feel it. To feel it, we need spaces like this, which welcome us in and which gently remind us we are not machines made for concrete and chaos. We are human. And sometimes, in order to come home to ourselves, we need to walk barefoot into a mud house.

  • Orientation

Today was the first day we met everyone in the group. I had the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone. It was difficult memorizing everyones names and I’m still working on it but it was great getting to know new people and making new friends. During Lunch, the food was toooo spicy so, I resorted to the food/ snacks my mom had packed for me and I shared with my roommates. The most challenging part of the day was definitely the food and getting used to it but I tried being open minded about it and I tried it even if I was slightly nervous to do so. I’m glad I did try it because the food was honestly really good especially the buttered chicken (after they toned down the spice). At the end of the night, Nishita, made henna designs on my hand and it was really exciting. The day was intimidating at first but overall really fun.

  • The Green House

Today, we have been in a forest. We walk into tree and we go in the house. We visits the Midi House and the women presented his house and history. The house was in 3 floor and 225 meters. It’s was a very nice house and very old I love it. After we has visited we go around the house to discover and take some pictures. For me I really like the place and the environment of around the house. The house was very big and I like the architecture. This house was looking a dream house in a forest.

  • 5 Days In Delhi

Delhi has been quite an experience. At first, it was a big adjustment because of the cultural differences and the way things are done, but I adapted quickly—everyone I’m sharing this experience with has been so welcoming. I loved seeing the dogs, cows, and monkeys because I deeply love animals, but it also made me sad to see so many stray dogs without food, water, or shelter. Being able to try new foods, explore different environments, and visit places I’ve never been to back home has been amazing. I truly feel blessed and grateful for the opportunity to experience this.
