  • Mumbai was quite a unique experience

We only stayed a short time to interact with the sponsors, but I can confidently say Mumbai was quite a unique experience. We started by landing at the airport like every other place, but our bus drive was a little different. We went out over the Arabian Sea and got to see the Mumbai skyline. It was similar to the New York skyline, but the buildings were far more unique. Our first stop would be a modern museum where they would teach kids different topics, such as water flow or how pulley systems work, through interactive lessons. Later, we went to the hotel for a short while in order to get ready for the meeting with our sponsors, so much happened at the meeting. We began by having light conversations with the sponsors as they trickled in and then, once they all arrived, certain students gave speeches about their 360 experiences, some brought on tears, some brought on laughter, some brought on both. All in all, they were wonderful speeches. At the end, we all danced like crazy and went back to the hotel tired and ready for sleep. The next morning, we went to a more traditional museum where we were shown a very bio-diverse garden with over 100 different plants which allowed for many different birds and even bats to thrive. Then we took a guided tour and of the museum. We had very limited time so we were able to even he through 1/4 of it, but it was very cool nonetheless. We then went the Indian gate where it down poured on us, getting everyone soaked. Mumbai was, as I said in the beginning a very memorable and unique experience.

  • 36hrs in Mumbai

During our stay in Mumbai, we had the opportunity to visit two remarkable museums that left a lasting impression. The first was the Museum of Solutions, a vibrant and interactive space designed primarily for children to explore, create, and learn through hands-on experiences. The museum featured various sections where kids could engage with science, art, technology, and problem solving in a fun and imaginative way. Spending two hours there truly brought out the inner child in me. The atmosphere was filled with curiosity, joy, and discovery, making it a delightful experience for visitors of all ages.

The second museum we visited was the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, a renowned museum dedicated to ancient artifacts and historical exhibits. This museum showcased a rich collection of sculptures, paintings, and taxidermy mounts of different species. I was fascinated by the stories behind the artifacts, including legends of Lord Ganesha, Shiva, and other figures from Indian mythology and history. Walking through the exhibits offered a deeper understanding of India’s cultural and natural heritage, making it both an educational visit.

  • Mumbai Memories

Our time in Mumbai was brief, but incredibly meaningful. As we flew in, I was struck by how green everything was and it reminded me of Oregon. The lush landscapes and vibrant scenery were absolutely beautiful. Our first stop was the Museum of Solutions, a place that felt both playful and profound. Exploring its many floors awakened a sense of wonder in me and healed parts of my inner child. We got to engage with interactive exhibits, watch thought-provoking short documentaries, and reflect on both the world and ourselves in new ways. That evening, we attended a dinner with the program’s sponsors, a chance to express our gratitude and share stories from our journey. I had the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and interests, all united by their support for an incredible initiative like 360 Plus.

  • Museum of Solutions

Todaywe go to the museum of solutions with a car. I see that Mumbai is very different from New Delhi and Ahmedabad. The population looks very different and the building are very big and so beautiful. For me this city was not in India it’s was very very different and nice to see this. There are many rich people and rich building but there are many poor people with poor house. And many people say that Mumbai is the capital of India and I understand why this city really looks as the capital of India. It’ s was very amazing of the sea was next to this city and how the waves are strong. It’s so cool to live in this city, you have the sea next to you just you walk end you have the city. After this we arrived in the museum of solutions and behind this museum there are 2 very beautiful and big towers with like 50 floors. An employee explained us what is this museum and what are we gonna to do. This museum was just for kids and young adults to take fun. The first floor that we go was the place of playing. There was many different activities to have fun and I really enjoy it. My favourite activity was when we have to ride a ball with air to go in the three circle it’s was very cool but also very difficult. The next floor was like a work place with many materials and you can realise what do you want. A man explain to us what are the materials and to be very careful because it’s can be dangerous. I played in an activity that you have to connect some objects. And the last floor that we were was in the last floor and it’s was outside. We can see many vegetation very different from many different countries. This day was so nice and I really appreciate it and after this museum we go to the airport to eat and take the plain

  • Mumbai Diaries

Mumbai was one of my dream place to visit.

    20 July

The big buildings and roads are so beautiful. We enjoyed a lot in the MuSo museum. I was feeling as if I am a Kindergarten kid. We played so many games and there were tasks to do in the Play floor. Then in the Discover floor, the theatre was insane, I will surely visit again . We learnt many things about environment in the form of games. Next, in the terrace, there were so many beautiful plants and a lot of big buildings around, the view was amazing. As it was raining we couldn’t spend much time in the top ,but it was really really so beautiful and a nice experience.

Then in the dinner we met a lot of great people from whom we learnt a lot from their stories and challenges

    21 July

  • Mumbai The Busy City

I packed my bags and started my journey to explore new places I had only seen in dreams or on TV. I always wanted to go out and see the world. The wind made me feel calm, the rain reminded me of farmers, and the sea waves told me that anything is possible in life.

Mumbai is a busy city. People are always working hard to reach their goals, and even children are doing the same. Many people are so focused on books that they don’t get to see how simple things are made like how a table is made from wood or what banana and banyan trees really look like.

I visited a museum in Mumbai called MuSo. It was full of learning from rooms to washrooms. I saw how things are made, how gravity works, and many types of plants. Some I had seen before, and some were new to me.

I also went to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, the oldest and most famous museum in Mumbai. It has 1,000 types of plants, animals, flowers, and statues of gods and kings. I felt happy to see them. I hope we can save these things for future generations to enjoy too.

The most enjoyable part was that I met people who supported us to make the country green. It was a grey experience talking to people from the same state and knowing how nature makes the importance of living for human beings.

  • Can we get Starbucks?

On the morning of July 20th, we departed for Mumbai. Upon arrival at the airport, several members of our group attempted to locate a Starbucks, but were unsuccessful. During the one-hour flight to Mumbai, I was assigned a middle seat, but I was able to sleep through the entire journey. After arriving at our destination, we had lunch, and I selected Chinese food. Although the meal was flavorful, it was quite spicy. We then boarded a bus to the Museum of Solutions. I enjoyed the museum and found it reminiscent of one in San Francisco where my father used to take my brother and me. After spending approximately ninety minutes at the museum, we went to the hostel to change for dinner. I was concerned about the limited preparation time, but I managed to get ready in ten minutes. We waited in the lobby for a considerable amount of time before everyone gathered, and then we left for dinner. I felt anxious about interacting with the donors at dinner, as I am naturally shy. I chose to engage in conversations with my friends to ease my apprehension. I had several engaging discussions with the adults at dinner, and the dinner and dessert were exceptional. Several students delivered eloquent speeches about themselves and the program, which moved me to tears. As the evening progressed, the donors departed, and some of us entertained the group with songs and dances. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. By the end of the night, I was exhausted from the long day, as we returned to the hostel at 11:30. Despite the demanding schedule, I had a wonderful time.
