  • Concrete & soul: my gritty love to Jana masjid Ahmedabad & the Sabarmati

In a world that often feels like it’s spinning too fast, I find myself drawn to places that pulse with life, history, and a touch of nature. My recent adventures in jama masjid and along the Sabarmati River have left an indelible mark on my heart, reminding me of the beauty that exists at the intersection of concrete and soul.

A Tapestry of Chaos and Charm

Ahmedabad is a living, breathing entity a place where every corner tells a story, and every street is a canvas painted with the colors of life. My journey began at the iconic jama masjid, a magnificent structure that stands as a testament to the city’s rich history. As I entered the mosque, the cool marble beneath my feet contrasted sharply with the heat of the bustling streets outside. The intricate carvings and towering minarets whispered tales of devotion and artistry, inviting me to pause and reflect.

But it was outside that the true essence of ahmedabad revealed itself. The narrow lanes surrounding the mosque were alive with energy.

As I wandered through the streets.Their laughter was infectious, It was a reminder that amidst the hustle and bustle, there are pockets of joy waiting to be discovered.

Nature’s Embrace: The Sabarmati River Walk

After the vibrant chaos I craved a moment of peace, and the Sabarmati river walk in Ahmedabad offered just that. As I strolled along the banks of the river, I felt the weight of the city lift off my shoulders. The gentle lapping of the water against the shore was a soothing balm, and the lush greenery that lined the path was a welcome contrast to the concrete jungle I had just left behind.

The Connection Between Concrete and Soul

Both jama masjid and the Sabarmati River Walk taught me valuable lessons about life. In Ahmedabad, I learned to embrace the chaos, to find joy in the little things, and to appreciate the rich tapestry of culture that surrounds us. In contrast, the Sabarmati reminded me of the importance of slowing down, of taking a breath, and of finding peace amidst the noise.

As I reflect on my journey, I realize that these experiences are not just about the places I visited, but about the connections I made and the memories I created. They remind me that life is a beautiful blend of concrete and soul, chaos and calm, and that it’s in these moments that we truly find ourselves.

    Hiking:The journey with Nature

After years of admiring nature from afar, I finally go on my first hike. I chose a local trail known for its beautiful views and moderate difficulty. As I arrived at the trailhead, the fresh scent of pine filled the air, and excitement bubbled within me. The initial stretch was invigorating, but the steep inclines quickly tested my endurance. With each step, I felt my heart race and my legs burn, but I pushed through, motivated by the thought of reaching the summit. When I finally arrived at the top, the breathtaking view made every effort worthwhile. I stood there, feeling a deep connection to nature and a sense of accomplishment. The descent was easier, but I reflected on the journey and the challenges I had overcome. This hike ignited a passion for the outdoors that I never knew existed.

  • Time In Ahmedebab

My time in Ahmedabad with 360Plus has been full of learning. From walking across the Atal Bridge to hiking in the Aravalli Range, I started to notice how everything in nature is connected and how our actions impact the planet.

We learned about climate change and ways to reduce our footprint. It made me think more about how the small choices I make every day can have a big impact.

Ahmedabad has showed me that change starts with awareness and that we’re all part of something bigger.

  • Week 1 Comes To An End

It’s hard to believe it’s already been one week since this journey began. So much has happened, and a lifetime of memories have been made a few days.

One of the key parts of this program has been meeting people from all over the world. Within hours I made great friends with people from different continents, backgrounds, and beliefs.

This experience so far has taught me so much about growing, learning, being open to new things, and stepping out of my comfort zone.

This just Week One, I can’t wait to see what the rest of the journey holds.
