Mary Kinyua

Mary comes from a diverse and vibrant community where empathy, education, and collective effort are central values. In India, she embraced every opportunity to learn—through photography, journaling, and conversations that connected her to peers from across the world. Witnessing climate change discussions firsthand resonated deeply, especially since her own community faces the growing threat of wildfires. She left the program more conscious of her actions and eager to share her reflections back home. For Mary, the Leadership Collective wasn’t just a trip, but an extension of what she already believes: that growth comes from learning together, valuing diversity, and stepping boldly into new horizons.
