  • Bangalore Days

Arriving in Bangalore at night brought back quiet memories. The city where I grew up welcomed me not just with familiar streets and air, but this time, with the warmth of a new family my 360Plus family. After checking in, we settled into our rooms, filled with both excitement and curiosity for the days ahead.

Day 1: Stories, Reflections, and Laughter

Our first day began with meeting our two amazing leaders. We then experienced a powerful play by the Yours Truly Theatre team  a performance that sparked thoughts and emotions within us. The energy stayed with us as we headed to Lalbagh, one of Bangalore’s greenest spaces, for our first reflection session. The calmness of the garden made it the perfect place to pause and think deeply. Later, we explored Jayanagar’s markets, shopping joyfully before ending the day with what I’d call the best dinner of the entire trip.

Day 2: Understanding Waste, Understanding People

We visited Hasiru Dala, a waste management organization in Gottigere. Learning how waste is segregated and managed opened our eyes to how much effort goes into keeping a city clean. Talking to the workers there was humbling their dignity and strength left a mark on my heart. We later returned to Lalbagh, this time for a group-based reflection activity, where we shared our learnings and thoughts.

Day 3: Creating Solutions with Reap

At Reap Organisation, something shifted inside me. For the first time, I worked without distraction, fully immersed in the task. We chose to work on a real-world problem a local fruit vendor who was losing his stock due to spoilage. Together, my group found a creative solution to help preserve his fruits. That afternoon, we stepped into the peaceful beauty of Cubbon Park, learning about trees, birds, and animals using the Merlin and iNaturalist apps. Nature never felt more alive.

And then came one of the most special moments meeting the co-founder of Infosys. His words inspired us deeply, and it was an honor to speak with someone who helped shape India’s IT industry.

Day 4: Music, Art, and Goodbyes

We visited the Art and Music Museum, admiring the sculptures and the spirit of creativity. But as the day came to a close, it was time for our formal send-off. My heart was overwhelmed. I couldn’t speak  my emotions flowed through my tears. Three weeks with the 360Plus family had become a chapter of my life I would never forget.

Day 5: A Visit to Infosys  Innovation Meets Responsibility

On our final day, we visited the Infosys campus, learning how the company takes climate action and integrates sustainability into its functioning. It was eye-opening and inspiring to see how a tech giant is contributing to the planet. After that, it was time to head to the airport.

Bangalore is not just a city to me  it’s home. But this trip wasn’t just a return to my roots. It was seeing my home through the eyes of my 360Plus family. It was laughter in parks, tears during goodbyes, ideas born in classrooms, and hearts opened during reflection circles.

As I left the city, I didn’t just carry my suitcase.
I carried memories, friendships, lessons, and a full heart.

  • BENGALURU

The weather in Bangalore was so pleasant. It reminded me of the weather in France. I really liked the city especially pronouncing the name “Bengaluru,” which I absolutely love.

What I enjoyed the most in this city wasn’t the theatre or even the Reap Benefit workshop. It was the visit to Hasiru Dala. I loved it because I had seen something similar in France, so being able to observe the differences and contrasts between the two organizations was very impactful.

And how could I talk about Bangalore without mentioning the Museum of Art? There was so much love in that space  it was truly beautiful

  • Sweet Memories

I had a good time in Bangalore. I loved the weather, it was better than the other weathers in other states though it kept rain now and then but it was better and much cooler. I enjoyed most the shopping day it was so nice and I’m glad it happened during the night the lights made everything to be greater. It was nice negotiating for the good price I loved that. The hotel service was really good and the rooms were better than any other hotel we had ever visited. I would say Bangalore gave 5 star vibes I loved it there.

I loved the closing ceremony we had there. It was emotions and it gave me time to reflect on my journey. I loved and appreciated all the people who wrote in my poster the messages were sweet.

  • Bangalore Chapter

Jackets came to use in Bangalore, met the co-founder of Infosys, saw prompts into actions, and a lot more. Bangalore went super quick; I learned, reflected, and challenged myself, and it all came to an end. It started with Yours. Truly, the incredible actors showed how words and prompts turned into expression and performances, the connection of human emotion with climate change citizenship.  The third stop was at the Reap Benefit workshop, which started with real issues faced by the community people in Bangalore. Interviewed people shared how they faced water problems in a big city and reasons for not having access to clear, clean water. We discussed, discovered, and investigated to come up with a prototype for our idea and finally ended the day through a brief talk with S.D. Shibulal, the co-founder of Infosys. Talking about climate change, but a fun way was definitely through games, meeting the team of Hasiru Dala, hearing stories of waste pickers, their daily routine, and the waste management done by the company, showing us the importance of fixing the systems with compassion and innovation. Lastly, the final goodbye to Bangalore was with a visit to the museum of art and photography, plus our Stories that came to an end, but Daphne said it’s a commencement to take up all the learnings and begin a new journey towards building ourselves for tomorrow. But the best part was having me try Mexican food and trying salsa dance.

  • The Best Day

On our final day in Bangalore, I awoke with a mix of anticipation and slight anxiety, perhaps due to the graduation ceremony ahead and the looming departure. I was pleased to have the opportunity to sleep in. After preparing, I went to breakfast, where we celebrated Raeann’s birthday.

Our departure was delayed, which allowed me some personal time. We visited the museum and viewed various art pieces. I saw a piece that reminded me of a photo taken by Vassidy, an LC 24 alum, and Mary and I recreated it. Downstairs, we found a display of memories from our time at 360 Plus. We each selected a photo that wasn’t ours and presented why we chose it; I picked Yash’s because of its personal resonance. We then distributed lollipops with titles, and I received “silent killer.”

Following this, we wrote nice notes to each other and boarded the bus. We enjoyed a Mexican meal, which was a comforting reminder of home. The evening included dancing to Spanish music and a final birthday celebration for Raeann with cake and churros, concluding a delightful day.

  • Brrrr… Bengaluru

The first thing I noticed was how cold Bengaluru was! I was so used to the weather in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai that the cool weather shocked me. I loved all the museums we visited, especially the one the had a feature on women’s art. I felt like I understood everything; the blues and reds, tense expressions and displays of “ultimate” femininity. The exhibit was so layered and complex, I enjoyed exploring femininity from an Indian perspective, and I came to realize how close we are just because we share the same sex. It was nice to experience art here in Bengaluru because it seems like a very important part of the city. Not just colors, but different forms of expression, like theatre! Each city had its own flare, and I enjoyed Bengaluru’s version of it.
