This was a really big rock so i had to post it 😊

It’s crazy how being in a different environment with different people with different customs can change the way you think of the world you live in . Today’s lectures, sights and activities in Madurai made me realize that if I ever thought that life was hard for me in the US I needed to reevaluate my thoughts and see that I am indeed even more blessed than what I’d had thought.  To think that being here in India, where I can get sick for simply  drinking water, a simple and necessary essential to human life whereas in the US people  waste water like it’s nothing because they don’t realize how fortunate they really are to have that. To think that people stay quiet when they see situations in the US they KNOW are WRONG, when they know they  have a right and freedom of speech to speak up when they see a wrong doing, but don’t realize that in every place in  the world people dont always have freedom of speech as a given right. young people, teens, children don’t realize the blessing of having an education, of not having to work because your parents do that for you, when their only expectation is to stay in school, learn and thrive to success. Yet kids in the US think it’s better to party, skip school, not do homework, talk back to their teachers, disrespect their parents and look down on their elders. It’s sad how this generation is so hypnotized with technology, they can’t open their eyes to see the world they live in. They can’t open their eyes to realize that change needs to happen in this world . We aren’t living in a perfect world full of equality and happiness for all. Youth don’t realize that if you have a voice, use it. The youth of today are tomorrow’s leaders. The young souls of minors are those that will make the biggest impact on our earth. It all starts with a simple soul with a good heart who fights for what’s right and takes a chance. Like a wise man said today; ” If no one walks with you, walk alone, because you’ll never be alone.” When you start fighting for what’s right, people with the same mindset will join and slowly our voices will be heard. 🌍

Today we visited a temple and what really suprised me was the fact it was nothing as i invisioned in my head. In reality the concept i had in my head was worship and praise dress code and respect of rules but when i actually entered the temple it was a literal rip off. Seein salesmen of multiple products trying to get their products out in a place of worship and the teme authority allowing it another thing that bothered me was the fact that i heard one story saying that the water there was sacred like oh wow thats amazing then when i finally got down to it, it was pretty ridiculous the amount of trash that i seen floating around. Then their phone rule no photography because of sacredness when literally half people in there were either on their phone or takin pictures so i took it upon myself and said if y’all cant respect yall own code why should I and took pictures all and all Dr.V was really the only reason i actually continued the temple hearing his stories but other than that in my honest opinion for such beautiful interior decor that temple was an actual disappointment cause it didnt live up to my expectation
