Arriving in the Monsoon

While the students from overseas were making their to Mumbai, heavy rains and a plan skidding off one of the runways created havoc with flight schedules in India.

It delayed Oriannah’s flight from Madagascar itself, but the Bulgarian, Lebanese and Syrian students were in the air already. Their flight was diverted to Bangalore. The 360Plus team kept in touch with the students via Google Hangouts facilitated by a good Samaritan on the flight – Vedant Agarwal – who shared his cellphone hotspot with them. With the unforeseen circumstance, he became our intermediary to the group, helping them navigate the change. The 360Plus group spent some time resting at a local hotel and is now back at Bangalore airport will they will fly to meet the group at the Leadership Center.

The students from South Africa were the least disrupted. They met up in Johannesburg and with a layover in Abu Dhabi have reached Mumbai. The US students reached Munich on the first leg of their journey and are now on their way to Mumbai.

Tomorrow is another day, but we will all be together!
